A New York girl at heart with a Texas state of mind, Arlene Chapman has been working in the hair industry for over twenty-five years. Growing up she admired her father’s work as a barber and opened up her first shop in 1989. Twenty-two years later, Arlene opened A Color Salon located at 2628 Fondren Road in Houston, Texas. Blessed to have been able to make her dream salon a reality, the shop embodies an easygoing vibe as clients make themselves at home. With bright lightening, elegant décor, and individual attention clients are able to escape to a temporary oasis. Having both female and male clients, A Color Salon offers: hair cuts, color, hi-lites, low lights, ombré, ombré & balayage, smoothing keratin treatment, perms, and blow-dry. As a color specialist, Arlene uses color products that are ammonia-free, peroxide-free, and an oil delivery system. She not only understands the latest trends but also provides personalized needs to customers and creates individual looks for perfect, head-turning hair with prices that can’t be beat.
